Cooking for a Cause Wednesday
Please join us on Wednesday, November 10 for Cooking for a Cause at 4:30pm in the JBHS Oved Family Plaza to benefit the clients of Sephardic Bikur Holim. This event is sponsored by Coach Michael Gurock and the 8th Grade basketball teams. Chesed hours will be given. We look forward to seeing you!
American Mathematics Competition
The AMC is a prestigious international math exam that math lovers find challenging and fun. It also looks good on your college application to say that you took it.
You will have two opportunities to take the AMC exam. You may sign up for both if you would like, and you may be allowed to take both based on availability,

Partners in Reading - Mentors Needed
We are looking for qualified mentors in grades 10-12 to participate in the library's Partners in Reading program this year! This program partners select HS students with YOF Middle School students to discuss a book over lunch once each semester. Mark the Day - November 30
Dear Yeshivah of Flatbush family,
On November 30th, the Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School will be joining with the Sephardic Heritage Museum in a community- wide commemoration of the Day to Mark the Departure and Expulsion of Jews from the Arab Countries and Iran.
We need your personal family stories to help make our program impactful, meaningful and relevant. We would be very grateful if you have any photographs of family members in their home countries - Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Iran etc. you could share to be used in a video presentation and/ or display in the Stein Student Commons.

Math Lab During Lunch
Join us at Math Lab during your lunch for extra math help! 
First lunch is held in room 204 Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. 
Second lunch is held in room 221 Mondays-Thursdays. 
If you’re a good math student and are interested in helping with Math Lab, please contact Grace Betesh at [email protected] . You can receive up to five chesed hours per semester.
