Rosh Bet Midrash
Our Rosh Bet Midrash, Rabbi Albert Setton, also serves as the Rav Yeshivah of Yeshivat Barkai and the assistant Rabbi in Congregation Magen David of West Deal. He is a graduate of the Sephardic Rabbinical College, having studied under Rabbi Alouf and Rabbi Sutton for seven years. Upon his graduation from Yeshiva of Flatbush High School, he attended Yeshivat Birkat Moshe in Ma’aleh Adumim for two years. Rabbi Setton is passionate about teaching the timeless values of our Torah and explaining their relevance and meaning in our modern lives. He currently resides in Oakhurst, NJ with his wife Yaffa and five children.

Stephanie Idy has a BA in Mathematics from Macaulay Honors at Brooklyn College and an MA in Mathematics Education (7-12) from Brooklyn College Graduate School. She is currently working towards her MA in Jewish Studies from Yeshiva University with a concentration in Talmud. Stephanie is passionate about Judaic Studies and takes advantage of any opportunity to learn.
