We are still awaiting official updates from several colleges regarding what their testing policies will be for the Class of 2023. However, many schools have announced their policies; the most up-to-date info can be found on each college’s admission office websites. For your convenience, we are keeping track of several colleges’ policies on
this sheet.
CUNY Testing Update
While there’s no official announcement yet, we’ve received word that the City University of New York (CUNY) will make the submission of standardized test scores (SAT/ACT) optional for admission consideration for the next two years. This is a shift from the test-blind policy they’ve used for the last two cycles. It means students will be able to submit test scores as part of their applications to CUNY schools, but candidates will not be penalized for choosing not to submit them.
