    Executive Office Openings:

    Media Associate
    Reports to: Director of Marketing and Communications
    Schedule: Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am - 1:30 pm; evenings and Sundays as needed.

    Position summary:
    As a member of the Communications Department, the Media Associate serves as photographer and videographer for the Yeshivah and prepares content for social media.

    Responsibilities:
  •  Take photos and video depicting the school community engaged in events and programs for mission-oriented visual storytelling in various platforms and publications.
  •  Edit and polish video footage to create thematic or highlight videos.
  •  Prepare and post strategic and engaging social media messages in close work with Communications team. Develop and maintain social media calendar and plan. 
  •  Proactively research and determine photo and video opportunities.
  •  Assist with special projects as needed.

    Requirements:
  •  1 - 2 years of related work experience or study.
  •  Bachelor’s degree.
  •  Photography and videography skills, including video-editing ability.
  •  Ability to interact well with a wide audience, including pre-school, elementary and high school students, teachers, faculty, parents and board members.
  •  Experience with social media platforms, trends and best practices.
  •  Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  •  Proactive approach with strong follow-up skills and sense of urgency.
  •  Strong time management skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  •  Good organizational and planning abilities.
  •  Ability to work as a collaborative team member and as an independent contributor.
  •  Familiarity with Hebrew language a plus.

    Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, retirement and vacation.

    Communications Assistant

    Position summary:
    As a member of the Communications Department, the Communications Assistant provides administrative support to the Communications team on departmental projects and operations to help ensure efficiency and maximize productivity.

    Responsibilities:
  •  Execute technical setup of messages on various digital platforms, including email, website, app, and others.
  •  Track upcoming message needs and maintain planning calendar.
  •  Ensure currency of website, including reachout to content owners.
  •  Assist with spirit wear: help to sell at events, maintain inventory and serve as treasurer.
  •  Oversee letterhead needs. Help create or update as needed for print and digital formats.
  •  Maintain organized digital file system.
  •  Coordinate project, publication and stationery printing needs.
  •  Process invoices and track expenses.
  •  Answer phone rollover and field calls.
  •  Schedule meetings.
  •  Assist with projects as needed

   Requirements:

  •  1 - 2 years of related work experience or study.
  •  Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to learn new digital platform quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proactive approach with strong follow-up skills and sense of urgency.

Hebrew Speaking Teacher's Assistants - Yeshivah of Flatbush Elementary school is seeking creative, experienced candidates to work in an Ivrit B' Ivrit environment as Torah Studies Teacher's Assistants for the Lower School. This position begins in September 2019. Individuals should love to work with children, and be warm and caring professionals. Must be fluent it Hebrew and English.
