The Midrash

The Midrash is our school’s dedicated division for alumni, built on a deep commitment to lifelong learning beyond the high school years. Under the leadership of YOF Rabbinical Leader Rabbi Avi Harari (ES ’99, HS ’03), The Midrash offers a dynamic post–high school program with distinct tracks for men and women. Centered on advanced Torah and Talmud study, the program follows a chavruta-style model, empowering participants to learn collaboratively and at their own pace.

In just four years since its inception, The Midrash has grown into a vibrant hub of serious Torah learning. Through engagement with profound and complex texts, it fosters intellectual rigor while inspiring broader community involvement and a sustained passion for growth in learning.
