Assistant to the Project Manager

The Assistant to the Project Manager will support the planning, development, and implementation of educational materials, as well as assist with the organization and distribution of supplies. This is a full-time, in-person, 12-month position that includes a two-week summer vacation, with all other vacation days aligned with the school's 10-month academic calendar.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with both administrative and educational staff, and helping maintain an organized and efficient workflow. This role also requires physical tasks, including lifting and moving large boxes of supplies and materials. Candidates should have basic computer skills and be comfortable reading and speaking basic Hebrew.

Salary: $37,000 with benefits.

Judaic Studies Teacher, Lower School

The Yeshivah of Flatbush is seeking Judaic Studies Teachers for the 2026–27 school year. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's in Education and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in teaching Hebrew as a second language. Fluency in Hebrew is required.

Candidates should be prepared to teach in a student-centered, developmentally appropriate environment and demonstrate enthusiasm for working with students. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000.

Hebrew Speaking Teacher's Assistant, Lower School

Yeshivah of Flatbush Elementary School is seeking creative and experienced candidates to work in an Ivrit B'Ivrit environment as Torah Studies Assistant Teachers for the Lower School. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children, warm, caring, and professional, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Must be fluent in Hebrew and English. Hours are 7:45am–12:15pm.

Salary Range: $15,000 – $20,000.

General Studies Teacher, Lower School

Yeshivah of Flatbush is seeking a passionate and dedicated General Studies Teacher to join our Lower School team. This position reports to both the Lower School General Studies Principals and the Head of School.

Responsibilities:

Director of Academic Support

The Yeshivah of Flatbush is seeking a Director of Academic Support to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the school’s academic support program. This role oversees a comprehensive, data-informed system of support grounded in MTSS principles, ensuring that students receive responsive and effective instruction, intervention, and accommodations. The Director works closely with faculty, administrators, and families to promote student growth, achievement, and overall success.

The ideal candidate has experience in a school-based academic support or special education setting. They possess strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks, differentiated instruction, evidence-based interventions, and student support systems. The successful candidate demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with faculty, families, and administrators.

Guidance Counselor

The Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School, a premier Modern Orthodox yeshivah located in the heart of Brooklyn, is seeking a Guidance Counselor / Grade Team Member for the 2026–2027 school year. Our high school inspires students to grow into adults committed to Torah Values and empowered to impact the world.

Serving as a core member of a three-person grade leadership team, the counselor works closely with the Grade Principal and Grade Dean to support the academic, social-emotional, and overall development of a grade cohort. This role blends individual counseling, academic support coordination (including familiarity with IEPs and evaluations), and teaching two sections of AP Psychology.

Qualified candidates should have a Master's level degree in a mental health-related field (Psychology/School Psychology preferred). We are looking for a collaborative professional with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of adolescent development, and the ability to teach AP Psychology at a high level. Candidates should have a passion for student advocacy and the ability to build strong relationships with students, faculty, and families.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 commensurate with experience.
