For High School students, summertime relaxation generally comes hand-in-hand with summer schoolwork in preparation for the upcoming school year, and that has proved no different for the boys hoping to secure a spot with the Flatbush Varsity Basketball Program. A select number of student-athletes from the 2018-19 program joined their coaches in honing their skills and challenging some of the local schoolboy programs on the Jersey Shore at the 2019 Monmouth University Boys Basketball Team Camp from June 24-28 on the Hawks campus in West Long Branch, NJ.

The Flatbush Girls Varsity Basketball Team had a meaningful Saturday (3/2) morning and afternoon in Shabbat activities with their fellow RASG Shabbaton participants, then completed tournament play on the court where a late 4th Quarter rally fell short as the Falcons season came to a close in a loss to the Goldie Margolin School for Girls Maccabees (Memphis, TN), 44-34, at the Miami Beach JCC finishing the RASG Hebrew Academy Tournament in 8th Place overall, but departing Miami Beach having forged strong bonds with teammates and fellow tournament participants that will surely last a lifetime!
