Fine Arts
The fine arts curriculum introduces the fundamentals of fine art, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects. Students explore various mediums and techniques, and develop skills in drawing, printmaking, and painting.
Graphic Design
This dynamic course explores graphic communication and the principles of design, from idea development through final completion of class projects. Project examples include designing a corporate brand, customizing a food truck, and creating a 3-D container

EXTRACURRICULARS
Music
CHOIR
Our world renowned choir, under the direction of Mr. Sammy Henkin, rehearses weekly and performs throughout the year in and out of school. Open to students in all grades, the YOFHS Choir also records and produces an album each year. View our choir albums below.
BAND
Open to students of all levels who play all instruments, the YOFHS band rehearses weekly during club hour and performs throughout the year.
OPEN STUDIO
Under the supervision of Mr. Sammy Henkin, FAME Studios is open during lunch and after school on Fridays for students to rehearse, jam and record. Students are encouraged to learn new instruments, write new songs and record their music. Our faculty is available to aid in the instrumentation, arranging and engineering of students’ music towards the goal of producing an album each year.

A unique program that brings Holocaust survivors and 12th graders together for a year of storysharing and therapeutic theater

Our annual Jason Botnick Memorial Hebrew Play is a full musical in Hebrew, performed during Chanukah
