The Pathfinders department offers a four-year, individualized mentoring program that offers academic, professional, and extracurricular experiences to every high school student. This innovative program, which complements College Guidance, is an exciting way for students to strengthen their college portfolios, build resumés, network with industry professionals, and learn about themselves.
Pathfinders Focuses on Four Key Areas
Through special workshops and one-on-one meetings with Pathfinders counselors, the department helps students express their interests and goals and determine their next steps.
SELF DISCOVERY
Through industry-focused trips, guest speakers, and internships, students gain a better understanding of real-world work environments allowing them to make informed choices about their future.
CAREER EXPLORATION

Ms. Anteby (ES' 97 HS '01) has been a crucial member of the Pathfinders Department for more than a decade. Her love for exploring careers started during her years studying at NYU when she completed a multitude of internships in different fields. She has previously worked in advertising, retail and college guidance. She has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media and Communication from NYU. She is looking forward to expanding the department.
