17th Annual Chesed Mission to Israel

On winter vacation, 55 JBHS students along with Rabbi Naftali Besser, Mrs. Susan Franco, Rabbi David Galpert, and Ms. Tziri Lamm, travelled to Israel to participate in this year’s 17th annual Chesed Mission.

JBHS Students Succeed in WordWright Competition

Four teams of students representing the Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School recently won high honors in this year's WordWright Challenge, a national competition for high school students requiring close reading and analysis of many different kinds of prose and poetry, in the second meet, held in December.
