Rabbi Felendler's 8-404 and 8-402 Classes Embark on Tehillim Project

This week, Rabbi Felendler's 8-404 and 8-402 girls classes embarked on a long-awaited Tehillim program. The students have committed to go through sefer Tehillim over the course of Adar Alef, according to a standard division of the book into 30 parts.

At the assembly, the girls received their own sefer Tehillim. Each Tehilim has an interlinear translation, and is personalized with the student's name in gold stamped on the cover. They also received a folder with the first of several flyers that they will be receiving. The flyer was beautifully designed, containing quotes from great people about the power of Tehillim, highlights from upcoming perakim of Tehillim, and a Tehillim-related story.

Middle Division Principal Rabbi Dr. David Hertzberg spoke to the students about the expressive words of Tehillim. Next, Rabbi Felendler spoke about how one can connect with Tehillim, and personalize the Tehillim experience. He also explained how making Tehillim a life partner can enrich a person's life. Head of School Rabbi Yahel Tsaidi closed the program linking the words of Tehillim to the life of David HaMelech and to our everyday prayers.
