Meet The Staff

Each student is assigned their own College Guidance Counselor the summer before 10th grade and all members of the Department of College Guidance are here to help students and families with the many elements of the college preparation, search and application process. We welcome your phone calls, emails and visits; please feel free to contact us at any time.

Ms. Michelle Biller-Levy, Director

Ms. Biller-Levy joined the College Guidance team in September 2014 after working as an Admissions Officer at Barnard College for six years. She is an alumna of the Yeshivah of Flatbush and is thrilled to be back in this capacity.

Ms. Rachel Natov, Counselor

Ms. Natov is a Brooklyn native and happy to have been with us for five years now.  She is a graduate of Brandeis University and was a double major in Anthropology and History.  Prior to Flatbush, she worked at Brooklyn Law School and the admissions office of Brandeis University. Ms. Natov believes that college can expose you to new friends, subjects, places and ideas and from these experiences students grow and change and discover more about themselves.  With her free time, Ms. Natov enjoys walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, reading, playing trivia and consuming dark chocolate.  Her favorite quote is by Art Linkletter; “Things turn out the best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out.”

Rabbi Yitzchak B. Rosenblum, Counselor

Rabbi Rosenblum is a veteran counselor as well as a senior Judaic studies faculty member who has been at Flatbush for 18 years.  Rabbi Rosenblum is an integral part of school life, both in and out of the classroom.  His philosophy of “school is a place for learning” has been central to developing the college and academic guidance programs to maximize the students’ entire experience.  With warmth and humor, Rabbi Rosenblum helps make the College Guidance office a place where students feel comfortable.  On the rare occasions that Rabbi Rosenblum is not at school, he enjoys an active life on Long Island with his wife Aliza and lovely daughters Chayah and Sarah.  He also spends his free time cooking, swimming, playing guitar and pondering the future of the Jewish people.

Ms. Helen Kuznicki, Secretary

Ms. Kuznicki is enjoying her seventh year at Flatbush and she just loves working with our wonderful students!  She is a ‘local’ who has lived in Brooklyn her whole life, currently with her husband and three active young children.   Ms. Kuznicki believes that college is the stepping stone to help guide you toward the future.  As the person who manages the administrative details of the office, she is a firm believer in advanced planning on the part of our students.   When she is not at school or enjoying her family, ‘Ms. Helen’ pursues her interests in reading, old movies, cooking and baking.
