Meet the Athletics Leadership Team

Adam Ginsburg
Director of Athletics
Adam was appointed Director of Athletics in May of 2023 after serving as a Physical Education instructor and Boys Varsity Basketball Coach during the 2022-2023 academic year. As coach, he led the Boys Varsity Basketball team this year to the playoffs with a coaching style that highly motivated our student athletes. Before coming to YOF, Adam worked for more than 20 years at elite institutions, including New York University, the University of Massachusetts, Northeastern University, and the University of Florida. Throughout his career, he has been part of high performing basketball programs with multiple NCAA and NIT tournament bids, and has worked with several NBA and All-League players. He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Florida. Adam and his wife Beth have children Matthew, Lexi, and Briella. 


Matthew Malc
Associate Director of Athletics, Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach
Matthew recently earned the honor of Gold Medal Head Coach of the 2022 U18 U.S. National Team at the Maccabi Games. This school year, he was the Assistant Coach at Manasquan High School in New Jersey and led his team to become Group 2 State Champions. Matthew previously served as coach for the Ranney Panthers, a top-ranked New Jersey high school team that was also ranked #4 in the nation. He has coached over forty Division 1 basketball players with multiple players going on to play in the NBA or professionally overseas. Matthew attended University of Maryland and studied sports marketing and management. Matthew and his wife Felicia have children Cierra, Logan, Alanna, and Nico. 


Morris Dweck
Morris Dweck
Head of Basketball
Morris (HS ‘92) has many years of coaching experience on both the JV and middle school levels. He is a proud co-founder of Upside Basketball, through which he worked with children from fifth grade through high school. One of the great Flatbush basketball alumni, he was inducted into the Yeshiva High School Alumni Basketball Association (YABA) Hall of Fame in 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from NYU Stern School of Business. Morris and his wife Evelyn have children Ikey, Barbara, David, Jacob, and Elliot.

Robyn Dweck
Assistant Director of Athletics
Robyn (ES ’11, HS ’15) currently works at JBHS as the Head of the Physical Education Department and as head coach of the Girls Softball Team. Alongside Adam, she just created and launched the Sports Management Club which provides an off the court/field experience for students. With many years of coaching experience, she is passionate about teaching her players the importance of hard work, dedication, and most importantly team work. She has dedicated a decade of her time to Camp Seneca Lake where she is now the division head of Upper Girls Campus. Robyn currently holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Education as well as a masters degree in Special Education.
