The Parent School Partnership hosted a very special program for ES parents this past Wednesday evening to discuss "How to Talk with Your Children About the World We Live In." The program began with words of introduction from Rabbi Tsaidi and Mrs. Bethany Strulowitz, and participants heard from our panelists, Mrs. Minna Samra, Dr. Susan Schmool, Dr. Shlomo Stern, and Dr. Nicole Yossef, about the importance of practicing self-care, fostering open and developmentally appropriate communication with our children, and monitoring social media use.
Participants then engaged in smaller, more intimate conversations in breakout sessions facilitated by members of our PPS staff including Mrs. Robyn Luisi, Mrs. Yocheved Orlofsky, Mr. Pivovz, Mrs. Samra, Dr. Schmool, Dr. Stern, and Dr. Yossef.
Special thanks to Nicole Oved, Rena Ashear, Amy Betesh, Sarah Chalouh, Michele Cohen, Esther Mishan, and Amy Sasson for coordinating this meaningful event.
