The 6th grade science classes went to the Buehler Challenger Center, a living memorial for the astronauts of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. The students participated in a simulated mission to launch a probe into Comet Halley. All students worked in teams to complete their mission while combining their knowledge of science, math and technology to conduct experiments, monitor life support, and execute navigation orders needed to complete their mission successfully.
