Dear Flatbush Family,

Pesach is a time for appreciation of all that Hashem has bestowed upon us. That is why A Pesach Message From Executive Director Rabbi Dr. Jeffrey Rothman the peak of the Seder experience culminates in Hallel. Our Rabbis teach us that we begin the Seder with the disgraceful periods in our history: our forefathers were idol worshippers and we were enslaved in Egypt. But then through experiencing the Seder, reflecting on the ten makot, the splitting of the sea and our being saved from the Egyptians, we are meant to end the Seder with praise of Hashem. We remind one another of all the bad, simply so we can come to appreciate what Hashem did for us.

In the spirit of expressing appreciation, I thank you for your giving us the honor of educating your precious children. We value your partnership and appreciate your commitment to our Yeshivah. May it be in the merit of all our Pesach Sedarim, and all of the added learning of our Yeshivah of Flatbush students and families, that we see the coming of Mashiach speedily in our days.

Wishing you all a Chag Kasher V'Sameach!
