JBHS Sophomore Wins Best Actor Award at Envision Shakespeare Competition

Recently, a group of JBHS students spent the day at Envision Shakespeare, a yeshiva-wide drama competition. The students participated in acting workshops, culminating in a drama competition. Eight yeshivot competed in the performance of Act 3, Scene 1 of Romeo and Juliet. The JBHS led by senior Rebecca Coopersmith did a fantastic job. Sophomore Leor Yazdi won the award for best actor among 100 participants! Thank you to chaperone Robin Coopersmith for accompanying our students and to the JBHS Pathfinders Program.
