FIRST LEGO Robotics Jr. Pilot Program Challenges Students to Survive on the Moon

March 7, 2019
On Sunday, The Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School kicked off the FIRST LEGO Jr. Robotics program for students in grades 1-5. JBHS students served as mentors for the young students who were tasked with solving different problems on how to survive on the moon.
Groups of four students along with their high school mentors chose a problem related to surviving on the moon and used LEGO components to come up with a solution for solving that problem. The class is taught by Joey Berkowitz (HS 2017) and is part of the JBHS Pathfinders Program.
