Congratulations to the JBHS Model Congress team for its performance at this year’s annual Yeshiva League Model Congress program hosted by HAFTR HS! Students presented bills and debated legislation in a variety of committees, including Banking, Ethics, Ways & Means, Education, and Housing. Out of hundreds of students from 15 participating schools, five JBHS students were recognized for awards: Reuben Goldstein and Moe Sutton won awards for excellence in their committees; Shlomie Katash and Michael Oved won gavels for "Best Delegate" in their committees; and Freshman Nicole Muravsky was awarded a plaque as the 3rd Place Overall Delegate for the entire event! We look forward to future successes from all of our students!
