This week, YOF faculty members Stefanie Douek and Danielle Orville participated in a Professional Development day given by Brooklyn North and TEQ.
The workshop reinforced the importance of STEM in education and gave insight into new techniques and learning tools that are available to students. They built a Scorpion robot using the technology created by Robotis. Using an app, they were able to control the robot. They are excited to bring all that they have learned back to YOF and implement their knowledge into their teaching.
