Last week our fourth graders had the privilege to invite representatives from 12 chesed organizations in the community to our Yeshivah. Students personally presented each representative with a check with the tzedakah that they raised this past December at the Reina Varon A"H Business Fair. The students raised over $12,000 which was equally donated to these worthy causes. Representatives came to receive the check and then spoke to the students about how they help people in the community.

Students heard directly from organizational representatives on how the money will be used so our fourth graders could understand how their chesed will impact others. Students were commended by all of the organizations for their hard work and were encouraged to always make a difference.

Organizations who benefited from our students' chesed were: Hatzolah, Misaskim, Imagine Academy, Sephardic Bikur Holim, Naomi Houllou A"H Legacy Fund, Chai Lifeline, Bonei Olam, A Time, Od Yosef Chai, Aishel Shabbat, Marc Zeplin A"H Foundation, Yeshivah of Flatbush Scholarship Fund.
