Last week, the JBHS debate team and its coach Ms. Shelley Kaplowitz hosted multiple yeshivot from around the tri-state area for their annual debate competition. Of the 15 teams competing and 30 matches, the Flatbush debate team achieved enough wins and points to be honored as one of the top two schools in the tournament.
