Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly

Fourth and fifth grade students participated in an assembly to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The assembly began with a simulated protest march, followed by a poetry reading and quote analysis.

Members of the fifth grade leadership team spoke eloquently about Flatbush Five traits and their connection to MLK. The assembly ended with a video featuring The Maccabeats in a tribute song to Martin Luther King Jr. Thank you to fifth grade teachers Mrs. Ayash and Ms. Tawil for organizing this powerful and moving assembly.
